Books similar to Divergent

What to read after Divergent

It has been over ten years since Divergent was published. I remember first reading it at a teen bookclub in my hometown. The dystopian setting, the complex characters and the action-packed story was like nothing I had read before. Now, I find myself rereading it again, many years later, and it is as addictive from the first page as it was the first time I read it. The world building, set in a dystopian Chicago, is so good that you want to know every last detail. It has romance, though that is not the main focus of the book, a good good vs. evil storyline, and likable characters. Tris has got to be one of my favorite heroines. With our unique Book Dimensions system, we found other books that have very similar tropes, storylines and narrative styles like Divergent. Dig in on these books! We hope you enjoy them as much as you enjoyed Divergent. Just a heads-up, this post contains affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission (at no extra cost to you!) -Andrea :)
