Founded in 1975, The Bookery is located in the historic Dewitt Building in downtown Ithaca, New York. We offer a wide selection of used and rare books, available in our store and online. We also purchase books–from individual volumes to entire collections. Downtown Ithaca is located between Cornell University and Ithaca College, and our books reflect both the academic and cultural elements of our community. We have rare books about New York and local history, as well as a wide selection of history from around the world. We specialize in foreign language, art, art history and architecture, as well as books from all sciences. We also have a wide selection of fiction and poetry, both first editions and newer releases.
